One time Aaron had an argument with his girlfriend over why the lights were off in their apartment when they should have been on (I guess?).

I thought it made a nice metaphor, but also I didn't want to harp on the negative. So this has a more romantic arc that I actually enjoy playing instead of rambling on about relationship implosions.

In a nice parallel, they are still together and have a kid.
